Healthcare

Telemedicine, emergency aid, training and much more!

Brochesia has developed innovative solutions for the healthcare sector able to meet the needs of public and private hospitals, nursing homes and biomedical and health training centers.

Thanks to the advantages of Augmented Reality and the freedom of movement of wearable devices, B View facilitates communication between all medical staff through its audio/video streaming feature and the ability to send files and share health reports through secure data transfers. The doctor no longer has to transcribe data to the computer, saving 15% time that he can use to focus on the patient.

B View is also a crucial tool for providing targeted remote assistance services to patients, reducing waiting times and optimizing costs and processes.

The use of Smart Glasses in combination with Augmented Reality software also plays an important role in medical and health training. In fact, especially in the field of surgical techniques, B View has proven to be extremely effective in having a direct share between colleagues and in being able to teach students and postgraduates using a privileged point of view.

Finally, Brochesia B Step solution supports the healthcare sector to define the flow of actions to be followed step by step to correctly carry out every activity, with the possibility of receiving detailed reports at the end of the process and monitoring its later developments.

A success story: 118 first aid

In 2018, the Bari-BAT first aid was equipped with the B View software. Through the Brochesia solution, the operators of 118 were able to work in emergency and first aid situations communicating at the same time with the operations center to receive instructions and be more efficient, with the possibility of using both hands and showing the intervention.

“”Blind” is an international definition used for the operations centers. An operations center is able to communicate with the patient, the emergency vehicles and the police, but it cannot see what is going on in the field, and therefore it must rely on the information provided. With this new device, the operations center can directly see what is happening. It is enough for a trained operator to wear Smart Glasses – which allow him to see the surrounding environment and at the same time read the information received remotely – and he will be able to stream in real time to the operations center images from an incident or a patient with particular problems”.
