Artificial intelligence and augmented reality are increasingly shaping the way we live, connect, and work.
Companies must be ready to adopt and integrate these technologies into their operational processes to increase efficiency, security, and collaboration.
CES 2026 showed how AR and AI solutions are becoming increasingly mature.
In this context, hardware and software combine seamlessly to offer more intuitive, functional user experiences that support everyday activities in the field.
In this article, we provide an overview of the most innovative smart glasses presented at CES 2026, analyzing the technical features and innovative aspects that distinguish each model.
Smart Glasses innovation from CES 2026
The new way in which technologies interact with users seems to be increasingly based on contextual intelligence and natural interaction. Meta, with its Meta Ray-Ban Display, developed with EssilorLuxottica, had begun to integrate AI functions to facilitate communication and the management of everyday information.
At CES 2026, Meta presented the new features of Meta Ray-Ban Display, which expand these capabilities with teleprompter and gesture recognition via the Neural Band, showing how AR devices can become intelligent tools to assist users in a more comprehensive and contextual way.
Vuzix Ultralite Pro and Vuzix LX1 Smart Glasses
The Vuzix Ultralite Pro has been recognized as a CES 2026 Innovation Awards Honoree in the XR & Spatial Computing category for its platform designed for enterprise use.
In addition to the recognition received for the Vuzix Ultralite Pro, Vuzix presented the new Vuzix LX1 monocular smart glasses, which are scheduled to launch later this month and feature the following characteristics:
- High-visibility OLED Heads-Up Display and hands-free voice control to view data and lists without interrupting work.
- Up to ~10 hours of battery life thanks to a 7000 mAh battery.
- Extreme temperature resistance and modular mounting for ease of use in the field.
The new Mojie’s AR+AI Glasses
Zhuhai Mojie Technology Co., known as Meta-Bounds, has unveiled its latest smart glasses model, aiming to redefine the industry by being the world’s lightest full-color AR+AI glasses.
These glasses are designed as a hardware platform for generative AI applications.
Their main function is to ensure comfortable all-day use and comprehensive usage scenarios, marking a step forward in the evolution of consumer AR glasses in terms of both hardware and software.
The glasses have the following features:
- ultra-lightweight (only 38 g) AR+AI color glasses
- based on diffractive resin waveguides, making them the lightest in their category.
- they integrate a near-eye display system, perceptual interaction, and large-scale production engineering, all developed in-house.
- they offer high transparency, sharp images, impact resistance, and privacy protection.
- equipped with a 2 MP camera for shooting and recognition.
XGIMI MemoMind
MemoMind, a new brand incubated by XGIMI, presented a line of AI smart glasses focused on intelligent interaction at CES 2026. Among the models planned:
- Memo One: with binocular display and integrated audio for visual and voice AI interaction.
- Memo Air Display: adopts a more minimalist monocular approach. Features include navigation, real-time translation, teleprompter, and AI summaries, based on a multi-LLM operating system that automatically selects the most suitable model.
Xreal 1S
Among the smart glasses that have attracted the most attention are the new Xreal 1S:
- Devices designed as a spatial display platform. Connected to a smartphone or computer, they allow you to view content on a virtual screen up to 500 inches, with 3DoF spatial anchoring that allows you to keep the display fixed in space.
- Thanks to Real 3D technology, 2D content can be converted to 3D in real time.
- Lightweight design, improved brightness, and electrochromic dimming make the experience more comfortable even during prolonged use.
The new XReal 1S, launched at a lower price than previous models, shows a clear trend towards greater accessibility.
This opens up new possibilities in the professional sphere, such as training, information display, and operational support.
CES 2026 reminded us that gaming also plays a key role in the evolution of smart glasses. Among the glasses that received the most approval and amazement are the ROG XREAL, designed for immersive gaming experiences. These glasses push the limits of display, refresh rate, and spatial interaction.
The event showed how the smart glasses and augmented reality sector is evolving rapidly, with increasingly intelligent, lightweight, and accessible devices designed for professional and everyday scenarios.
The devices presented feature solutions ranging from contextual AI interaction to spatial visualization, confirming a trend towards devices that combine design, comfort, and practical functionality.
For this reason, we will continue to closely monitor these developments to ensure that our AR software products remain up to date and compatible with new generations of smart glasses.
